Using Panel 4: Original Data Map
View the details of the original data map you have
selected. You may view different data maps by selecting
them from the list on the previous panel. The information
on the left indicates the map's creator, their rating (out
of five stars), the map's rating (out of five stars), the
map's location, date of creation, original projection,
original datum, original spatial resolution, center geographic
coordinates, number of parents (other maps used to create this map),
number of offspring (other maps that have been created using this map),
and default file-type.
To the right, you will see an image of the selected data set.
You may also choose Description to see a full
description of this data map.
At the bottom, there is a link for a low resolution GoogleEarth/KML
file of this data set. This is not indicative of the real spatial
resolution of the data.
Once you have found a data map that meets your criteria, continue
by clicking the orange arrow to the right.
